Therapy with Leanne
Life is a journey marked by joys, sorrows, and everything in between. Life transitions can be daunting terrain to traverse on your own. I am here to help. Together we can sift and sort through your experiences, uncovering strengths and identifying strategies for growth. I come from a trauma-informed and client-centred lens. I cultivate respectful curiosity in collaborating with you in distilling your needs and goals; together we create pathways towards a life that aligns with your values.
I have over twenty years of experience as a performing arts educator; I have a seen my students grow from five-year-old artists into adults with families of their own. As a parent, I have a profound respect for the challenges that parenting can bring. I enjoy helping parents, children and youth navigate a path that honours the needs of all. I am here to receive whatever you are experiencing and able to work with you to identify your needs. I have a base in somatic practices and mindfulness which underpin my work. By taking the time to reflect on our inner landscape, we can gain a deeper understanding of ourselves and those around us. My approach is multifaceted and tailored to what resonates with you. I welcome working with diverse clients of all ages, cultures, genders, sexual orientations and abilities and I currently work with clients ages 8 and up.

Outside of Work
I am a parent, a performer, a teacher, and a dog lover. I love the creative environment of theatre productions and the invigorating spark of being backstage. I also find joy being in nature, whether out on the water or deep in the forest. In my free time I love spending time with my family and friends hiking local trails, kayaking, and cuddling up with a good book. My dog, Ocho, is a seven-year-old forever puppy who constantly reminds me the value of the present moment.
