Ally Global Foundation
Ally Global Foundation partners with local and global organizations to help human trafficking survivors heal from trauma and build independent futures. Ally Global Foundation supports trauma-informed recovery programs in Cambodia, Nepal and Laos run by locals in those countries. Ally Global Foundation also partners with local organizations in Vancouver and across Canada to spread education about human trafficking and prevent further human trafficking victims. Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre
The Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre mission is to provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for self-identifying women (cis, trans, 2s). The Centre provides supportive surroundings with meals, counseling, advocacy and programs which nurture and empower women who live or work in the Downtown Eastside. They work from an anti-poverty, anti-racist and feminist approach to support women with the challenges they face in life. They have a variety of programs that range from meal support (they serve 750 meals per day), housing support, cultural programs, and skill development.
